Hey y'all! It's that time of year again to remind ourselves just what we are thankful for :) While I try my very best to ALWAYS be thankful for the good in my life, it's easy to get caught up in the day to day stresses and toils and forget that life really isn't all that bad!
I have so much to be thankful for!
1. Three freaking AMAZING kids who love me and whom i love. The daily hugs and kisses and laughs and random conversations (and i do mean RANDOM.. kids brains are nuts!)
2. A husband who is (and i know this sounds cliche but....) my best friend. He's my partner, my accomplice in crime, my rock, my buddy and my soulmate. I can be a crazy, stressed out, moody, depressed, anxious, hard to please and hard to deal with person to live with but SOMEHOW that saint of a man makes it look easy! I will be forever thankful to my creator for him! He's been the most precious gift in my life. He GAVE me my children and he helped me to find myself and that's something that nothing could ever top.
3. My husbands family, who have my back and love me as their own even though i was an implant :) The relationship I have with my mother in law is wonderful and I'm blessed to have her as both a mother and a friend.
4. The roof over my head. It might not be a roof I own but it's a roof and it keeps my children safe and protected at night and that's all that matters. The walls attached to that roof are full of love and happiness and those are things that cannot be measured!
5. The food in my cupboards and refrigerator because I KNOW what it feels like to have those be empty and wonder exactly how you're going to feed your children that week.
6. Last but not least for the list this time around--My dream of being a published author being a reality. I LITERALLY live my dream every day. Every day that i create a world, a scene, a person, a relationship, that never would have existed had I not brought it to life :) It's an amazing and humbling thing to know that there are those of you out there that want to read these babies that I create... that you become invested in these characters and that you love them (or hate them) just as I do :) So I'm thankful for YOU dear reader. I am so very very thankful for you.
I hope that you take the time to remember the things you have to be thankful for... even if it's the smallest of things.. because those are the things that make this life worth living. As Pete (from 'Give My Heart to Kaitlyn') would tell you, "It's the little victories in life that make it worthwhile.
Love y'all!
